At Intact, our commitment to social impact is articulated through our shared value of generosity and demonstrated through our support of nonprofits that mean the most to us. Through our Community Engagement Program, our Chicago office is partnering with local nonprofit, the Neighborhood Boys and Girls Club (NBGC). They support the organization through employee volunteerism and charitable contributions.
Dedicated to youth development, the NBGC’s mission is “to enhance the well-being and develop the potential of their members, their families, and the community.” They “value a relevant multi-faceted, year-round program, where ‘everyone plays’ in a safe and supportive environment that promotes honesty, self-reliance, sportsmanship teamwork, leadership, and lasting friendships;” and hope these qualities help “build better men and women who carry these values into their adult lives.”
This Spring, our local team coordinated a toy drive supporting the various NBGC activities and programs. Enjoy these photos of their day at the club learning about its mission and engaging with children and staff in their day camp program.
