Our Human Resources team recently hosted a “Lunch and Learn” session for our summer interns.
The presenters of the session were senior members of the company namely America Glaude, Head of Human Resources, Megann Kellom, Director, Corporate Affairs and Mary Fisk-Bieker, Chief Underwriting Officer. They discussed and shared their thoughts on topics relating to:
- The impact of COVID-19 on business and teams – the use of newer and innovative collaboration tools; embracing technology to stay connected with customers and colleagues.
- Working post pandemic – as companies discuss return to the office, flexibility and efficiency are key.
- The future of work – the hybrid workplace system is here to stay.
The virtual event also provided our interns the opportunity to ask questions related to the professional journeys of the presenters and advice that they would give to the younger generations.
