The month of May is celebrated as Asian/Pacific American Heritage Month – a time to honor this community’s contributions and influence on American history, society, and culture.
First observed in 1977 as a ten-day commemoration in May, it was extended to the full month in 1992. This year’s theme is “Advancing Leaders Through Purpose-Driven Service.”
