This week is National Volunteer Week – a time to thank volunteers, recognize the impact of their services, and encourage volunteerism in our communities. At Intact Insurance Specialty Solutions, one of our core values is being socially responsible. We aim to help our communities prosper in good times and be resilient in bad times.
We have long embraced supporting nonprofits that matter most to our employees and producer partners. Through our Community Giving Program, the Intact Charitable Trust promotes employee and producer volunteerism, leadership, and philanthropic efforts. For many years, our organization has volunteered, and continues to volunteer, at local food pantries, homeless shelters, animal shelters, community centers, Boys and Girls Club of America and Habitat for Humanity, as well as beach and park clean-ups. More recently, we’ve found ways to volunteer virtually, such as hosting skills-based lunch and learn sessions with local nonprofits. We’re so proud of the efforts put forth by our employees and partners.
